Not many presidents could keep government operating under
the circumstances that Pres. Bush has had. After the Democrats
lost the last election, they made a promise that they would be
against everything that Bush was for; they would vote against
any non-liberal bill, and they would not vote yes on any appointee
Bush nominated (no matter what their qualifications). Well, they
have been true to their word for once which has made bi-partisan
politics unattainable. They've blamed Bush for lying about the
wmd (Clinton and most others thought the same thing so he
was no more a liar than the others), they've blamed him for the
hurricanes and relief efforts, blamed for high gas prices (the
president doesn't set gas prices) and anything else that has happened seems to have been his fault. Excuse Me, but I don't think so. I think Bush has tried (under these horrible circumstances) to be
bi-partisan, tried to protect this country any way he can tho he
doesn't like war any better than anyone else. It has been tough
on he and his family, but you've not heard him call names like
liars, Hitler, stuffed shirt and all the name-calling coming from
the rude Democrats. He and Laura are fine citizens who love
this country, are patriotic, honor the flag, honor God, and honor
all the traditions this country has heretofore been proud of. Why
would we vote Democratic to lower the standards?

I see him as a good man who means well but is in over his head. I have a hard time seeing him as evil or corrupt, but there is a disconnect between his intentions/ideals and his ability to bring them to life. The presidency is not an easy job - I certainly couldn't do it.

I'm very disappointed in him as a leader, and more so as time goes on. I think he has used fear and religion to manipulate his own people into supporting what are in reality his personal agendas.

He's the president apparently and he and the government have us in some form of a war about oil. That about wraps up my thoughts about him.

I could care less about any of them. I don't know them, so why should they matter to me?

Don't like him because his ideas aren't very good. He has good intentions though.
