folklore of any nation usually is passed down from generation to generation in oral tradition, until it is written down. often, over time, stories taken from other cultures are also integrated into old traditions, which is why stories such as The Great Flood appear so often as a folkloric motif.

hope this helps! : )

On the way to 'This', Somebody asked someone a question that someone did not know the answer to.
Rather than appear to be a fool, someone searched his heart and came up with an answer that seemed to be true.
Somebody watched life on the journey, and seperated someone's answers into two catagories, those that work and those that are 'superstitions'. Then Somebody started teasing someone about all of his superstitions, until Someone stood up and yelled:
"Have we come to This?!!"
But it was a false alarm, they had only come to a sign that said:
'13 miles to This'.
