When I turn my car left or right there's a loud noise that sounds like it is coming from the front driver's side wheel. What could that be?

i own a repair shop, and it could be a tie rod end bad on both sides of it,sometimes sounds will transfer from one side to the other ,but i think you need to take it to a garage, and let them put it up in the air ,and look at it if its a front end problem it needs to be found real; soon, because it can become a safety issue real fast and it could be something that could cause you to loose the steering on it,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

Front wheel drive? If it is that noise is "constant velocity joint" (CV joint) running with no grease in it! Because the axle boot is broken and the grease is all gone, -- the next level is severe "jerking" on hard turn (slow speed)-- this means the cv joint is now ruined and will need replaced!

So get it to a garage and have it checked and fixed before the cost more than doubles!!
It could be loose wheel "lugbolts" too, - so check that first!

Could be a wheel bearing or if it's front wheel drive it's possibly a CV joint. Whatever it is it's serious enough to get it looked at....
