For real, the acting is superb, the plot is excellent, and it goes all the way from making you wanna cry to laugh your *** out.

Forrest gump was an original. People love original films that inspire society and people and all. There are a few that are like that too and since then there have been many more in the works.

My favourite films are Saw 1 and Saw 2. But Forrest Gump is a great film too, it has a very nice story, from the begining till the end... you've got to see it!!!

I agree 100% It has been my favorite movie ever since it came out. I think a lot of people can relate to the charaters in one way or another, which makes it so unique.

FG is a great movie and had some special effects that were cutting edge for the time. What I'm happiest about is that they never ruined it by trying to make a sequel.

yes i think that forest gump is one of the best movies. I also like powder, i am sam, and the green mile.

It is by far one of the best films ever! It is certainly one of my all time favorites. It will be a classic in years to come!

It's a good one, but Zemekis has done just as well with others ("Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and "Death Becomes Her" comes to mind, as well as the "Back to the Future" trilogy)

Well, I don't. It's not bad - fun and funny - I think that the use of dead celebrities with bad CG is pretty weak.
I'll give it 3-1/2 stars.

well.. i agree with most of it, but not all the acting is superb.. it is one of my favorite movies though.. and i work at a movie store.. so i see tons of movies
