Yes and how, I had to wear clothes given to me by a person who had saved the clothes probably twenty years or more from her child, it was 1946 in Germany and I looked ridiculous in my velvet and who knows what long dress, it did not fit correctly and my shoes were two sizes to large. This continued my entire school years, my grandmother felt that if the material was still in good shape fashion did not matter. The first pair of new shoes I received in 1949. I was made fun off and I know the hurt and confusion that follows, so if you are a victim, this too shall pass, it did for me, and I am doing all right today.

Actually, nobody has ever made fun of me that I know of (and lets face it, if they did it would definitely get around). I actually thought that when you see someone being tormented on TV that it was just an exaggeration, but it isn't. I didn't realize that things like that actually happen until one day in 9th grade. These boys were making fun of another boy who was a little feminine. My friends and I were so angry at those boys and told them what we thought, not that it accomplished anything. However, now that I'm a senior I think most have grown up and I don't see it near as much.

Yup - fourth grade was the worst. it was always over something stupid (which just goes to prove that people are mean because they want to be mean, not because of race, gender, money, etc). I switched schools, made new friends, and was much stronger by the time I had to face them again in junior high.
Now I can pity those kids, because I grew up a nicer person because of it, and they have had to live with their disaggreeable selves all these years.

we've 'skipped' college on party and completed something much extra beautiful. in spite of the undeniable fact that, we homeschool so it somewhat is no longer a great deal for us- many times notwithstanding we are doing would count in the direction of our college day, besides, yet notwithstanding if it may no longer we don't fall in the back of. we've stayed up previous as a results of exhibit screen meteor showers and then skipped instructions day after immediately (so shall we sleep in, and then we had a field trip interior the afternoon). we've dropped instructions altogether while it rained almost daily for 2 weeks and the climate replaced into ultimately advantageous. we've placed aside our planned instructions and found out approximately rainbows somewhat or the presidents that u . s . had in the previous George Washington or notwithstanding piques our activity.

Cause I was different. Yeah I got over it, school in general was a mixed bag for me, I hated everyone yet they liked me! I got voted class president and homecoming king but I hated everyone I went to school with! I guess I was the person everyone liked, but loved to hate? Anyway, I got over it because I realized that school wasn't going to last forever and that most of the people who made fun of me weren't the people supporting me. So if you were not supporting me (housing, clothing, food) your opinion really didn't matter to me in school. My parents opinion, and my girlfriends opinion, is the only ones that really mattered......

Yes, when I was in elementary school. People just were little immature brats. I got over it because no one makes fun of me anymore. Except when, you know, I play volleyball because I am atrocious at that sport.

I was quiet in grade school and got bullied a lot. In high school I learned not to take it. I didn't fight, I just didn't back down. It's not always the case but I found most guys backed off when you stood face to face.

Yes, I was somewhat overweight as a child. Of course I got over it. it was a child thing. I did not need 100 years of "therapy". I found conditioning up and throwing a few punches helped.
