The man has 5 children and the woman has 5 children. They did not have the children together, so there are 10 children in total. 5 of these children are boys.

Each of them has five because it's impossible to evenly divide five into two. So, i think that is the only logical answer.

one of them is a hermaphrodite lol so therefore is both sexes lol but seriously i agree with everyone who says that they have five kids each :)
