Thrifty. You figured out a way to take advantage of a service without paying for it. That's what thrifty people do. The dictionary defines "thrifty" as wisely economical.

I think cheap people are those that just don't spend on anything ever out of principle. They wouldn't care either way if they had Internet access anywhere. The dictionary defines "cheap" as stingy; miserly.

To me, taking advantage of a free service is being wise, not miserly.

That would depend on your financial circumstances. If you could afford service comfortably, then you would be considered to be cheap.

If you could barely make ends meet & yet you came up with this plan as a way to be able to solve the problem of how to gain internet service for classes, etc...then you would be considered to be thrifty.

Actually, i'm a professional web designer. I'm neither cheap or thrifty but i do on occasion use the library service when i'm away or out of town and need to check my email quickly and all. That is why it is there... for people who travel with their work and need to check up on email and all.

depends, if you are sitting on more that 5k in the bank and you don't owe anyone and you have no real plans sounds like you are cheap.
if you only use the net once in a while or are working hard to make ends meet or are saving for a large purchase you are being thrifty.

Hmmmm, I have two computers at home, one hooked directly to the internet and the other is wireless. Nope, I'm not thrifty at all!

Thrifty. If I want something so bad I will buy it if I had the money. My first ISP did not cost a thing but I was lucky enough to know people who knew of that ISP.

I am trifty and I know some people who are cheap and use the library. They are annoying. It's like " get your own computer already."

Neither, I'd say your smart. You are paying for this service as libraries are funded through tax. No doubt you are paying taxes and therefore you are getting a service that YOUR tax dollars are paying for. Good for you!!
