Why are people still upset about this. He didnt mean it how you are interpreting it, that is a well-known fact. It was a joke about Bush that went wrong. And in no way about the troops in Iraq. He even apologized for messing up a joke. Is it that big of a deal?

Well yes it is John Kerry and yes it was inappropriate and a slap in the face to our troops.

I try to think about Kerry as little as possible. I think the troops with the banner answered him just fine.
