Best way is to scrap it and use Firefox ...

It's IE 6. The browser is 10 years old, which is ancient in computer terms. It can't even display pictures correctly. You need to upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 (your computer won't support 9). Besides probably fixing your issue, a lot of websites are starting to drop support for Internet Explorer 6 which means pretty soon, you won't be able to do much online.

I agree the best way to fix IE is to stop using it and switch to Firefox

hi, why not ditch Explorer for Firefox, it is free, uses less resourses, has a popup stopper and it's much safer, also it won't mess with your current explorer setup:
