If not, why? If so, why?

I plan on voting. I believe that the ultimate way to have your voice heard is through voting. Actions speak louder than words.

Absolutely, I feel as an American it is a special right to be able to vote. I take pride in my country. I believe those that do not vote do themselves a disservice and they tend to be the ones that scream the loudest that our government is screwed up . HELLLLOOOO vote and be heard and then I will be more then happy to listen to your complaints. I am taking my 8 years old son with me, as I always do because when he gets old enough I want him to take advantage of the privilege of voting. I guess I am hoping to lead by example. Thanks great question!

Yes. But I am still upset about the fact that if you do not vote in your precinct in Florida, then you cannot vote. This should be done away with plain and simple. If you can prove that you are an American citizen by showing I.D., you should be able to vote anywhere. Also, don't trust the electronic Diebold voting machines. Programmers claim that they can easily be hacked into and programmed in the favor of particualr candidates. They may have already made mistakes in a few key states. We need paper trails! It is OK to say that voting is the most important aspect of our system, but along with voting comes responsibility. You must also make an effort to ensure for fair elections. If you don't have fair elections in a democracy (the U.S. is a republic by the way), you have nothing at all.

Like many Oregonians, I won't be voting tomorrow because I have already voted -- we have vote-by-mail here. It's great -- you get to sit at the table with all your voter pamphlets, mailers from the various political organizations that want to sway you one way or the other, and of course the all-important internet connection so you can scrounge the real dirt on the candidates, issues and measures that you're faced with.

There are three registered voters in my household -- myself, my wife and our 19-year-old daughter. We dropped all three ballots off at the library yesterday, in the Official Voter Drop-Off box.

Definately, and the reason why is because I want to voice my thoughts on how the government is being run. It is our only way for us to speak out, and we are not happy with what we have at the present time, then we can exercise our freedom, and to kick out the people in government who we think will do a better job than what we currently have.
That being said, I do believe that all of the politicians, regargless of what party that they are affiliated with, are nothing more than a bunch of liers, who will say anything, so long as they are in power and elected.

Yes even though I don't want to. I don't like majority of the candidates but I feel like if I don't vote I can't say anything if the wrong person gets elected.
