If the most fertile woman on Earth had sex with the most fertile man, right when she's ovulating, there would be roughly a 20-25% chance that their coupling would result in pregnancy. On birth control? It's happened, although rarely. But even a 1% chance of having a lifetime commitment when you're not yet ready to have it should make one consider.
I would recommend that your friend go to any of many planned parenthood clinics and ask these questions. Most have staff availible that will talk to her free of charge, and are trained for having the correct answers. While asking questions on the Yahoo site might occassionally provide one with the right answer, it leaves it up to the asker to decide which is the best from amoung those. Is it really worth the chance when professional help's fairly nearby?
By the way, transmition of bodily fluids is a sure way to endanger yourself when it comes to STDs. That's how they spread. Use condoms along with birth control pills until you're in a relationship that you're sure is stable. ...Errr, I mean, tell your friend that.
Good luck!

1. The pill is about 98% effective.
2. There is no way to completely get rid of semen inside her once he has ejaculated.
3. The pill will not prevent her from getting an STD.
4. Get the Morning After pill within 72 hours from your local Planned Parenthood if no form of birth controlled has been used.
5. Get tested for STDs and HIV (also at Planned Parenthood)
6. If you or your friend are going to be sexually active the least you could do is GET INFORMED for God's sake!!!!!!!!

If you take birth control pills, I think the standard is a less than 1% chance of becoming pregnant during each unprotected sexual encounter.
There is no way of "getting rid of it quick" to reduce your chance of pregnancy. Though, people will be along soon to suggest that there are tons of ways, I'm sure. Douching with coke, douching with ANYTHING, or standing on your head...none of these things work.
Yes, you absolutely ARE exposing yourself to STDs every time you have unprotected sex, whether the man reaches orgasm while still inside you or not. If he cums, if he doesn't ***...you still have the same chance of catching whatever he has. If he's clean, you're safe. If you aren't sure whether he's clean or not, you need to protect yourself.

Yes, there is always a chance that you can become pregnant. The only way to be sure is by not having sex. If your friend takes their birth control how they are suppose to it is 92%-98% effective if not it makes the risk greater. The only way I know of killing the sperm is by taking a medicine syringe and putting cool water in it and shooting it up well you know were because the sperm can only live in certain degrees and cool water will kill them. YES ABSOLUTLY you can get STD with any type of unprotected sex!. If you are not for sure you friend and I only recommend doing this once but if she thinks she might get preggers have her take 3 of her birth control pill with in 12 hours of having unprotected sex. This wil heighten the hormones. so the egg will not attach to the lining, but like I said only do this once. Good Luck! And get tested!

Birth control, of any kind, is not 100% effective. The pill has a good track record if taken as perscribed ( not missing days, etc..) As far as STDs, the pill can't stop infected fluids...semen/vaginal. Condoms work. HIV and others can reside in semen. Talk to your doctor with these issues.

Birth control pills are about 97 percent effective. They do not protect against STD infections. Douching can remove sexual fluids but dosen't protect against STD transmission.
