Is there any way that I can go myspace if my workplace has blocked it? Without having to download any type of software? Isn't there some alternate ip address? I'm soo bored haha. Sometimes it allows me to go for weeks and then it will go weeks without letting and right now it lets me but it takes FOREVER to load but it wont let me go into my personal settings.
thanks.
ps. I dont want any smart or rude remarks....i know it's a stupid website but it keeps me entertained.

Yeah, for those of you who comment about being at work and getting paid to be on the internet...and mean it in a bad way then you know you're just jealous :-)

The last post is wrong, they aren't listening in on what you type, that would be spying. The internet security thing is there so you stay focused on your job, and that's why it won't work. However, there are some ways that might work. One might be to hit refresh a couple of times, sometimes it'll trick the server into letting the request go through. Another one that might work would be to go do a search for the website in a search engine and see if it'll let you in that way. Another way, which I've never tried but my friend says it works, it to create a webpage with an iframe embedded in it with the link to the site, this supposedly by passes everything because it isn't the actual webpage, but a page within a page.

You can go to your boss and tell him that you're bored and would like him to instruct the IS department to let you access myspace to give you something to while away the hours that you're supposed to be working. I'm sure your boss would be more than happy to let you access myspace.

Companies block that stuff for a reason. Learn to live with it or find another job. If you're that bored you can always ask for some cross-training or if there's anything else you can do to help out.

Companies do keep track of who's using what internet sites as it's very easy for them and more than likely use it to justify how much of a raise you get, or don't get. Using company equipment for personal use/internet surfing can be grounds for termination.

★★ BYPASSING SECURITY ★★

◙ You should stop trying to bypass security right now. They are listening in on this conversation with a key logger program that records everyone of your keystrokes. This key logger can email them a report if they are away from work.

◙ Do you think I'm kidding you. Here they are.
