Not all the time only when we have arguments and I want to make a point. It's not good for the relationship. People actually lose the person that they are with because they constantly bring up the other passed relationship.

I have and regretted it and very few times havent regretted it. All depending on the situation and if those topics have been resolved or not.

My wife doesn't do it she is amazingly admirable and full of self control when it comes to bringing up the past. Its because she really loves me deeply. Her forgiveness skills are literally incredible even in the heaviest arguments she doesn't throw the past in my face.

So needless to say I'm doing alot of apologizing when I do it LOL. Its just a way of getting someones attention when youre hurting or angry like a child... its an immature act that strays from the real topic more often then not.

You mean like vomit? Or do you mean bringing up issues your partner confided to you in order to hurt them or make them feel bad? No. I don't think character assassinations are a productive way to build a loving relationship. If their past bothers you, find someone else. Using someone's past to inflict pain and humiliation is not only immature, but just flat out wrong.

You will always throw up the past if the issues from the past were not resolved.
