I've read most of the Anne Rice vampire books. This particular story was the best of all of them, though the others were all fantastic as well. You have to read them all. They're even worth reading again, which is saying alot for Anne Rice novels because I only have so much time to read everything on the planet before I die.

It is a very good book (the movie SUCKS). I liked it much better than the book Interview With A Vampire. It delves into the background of Lestat.

its a hell of a book. He give his interpretation on "interview with a vampire" (only a quick one) then he goes on to his life. Its probably the best but after you read it youll want to read "queen of the damned>
