Neither! The most important is to get the best President for the job regardless of gender or race. I am still hoping however that Colin Powell decides to run for President! That or I will just be electing the lesser of two evils.

Judging by the way history has been going so far I think there will be a non-white male president, then the possibility for a white-female president, then the possibility for a non-white female president.

Whomever is best for the job. It *shouldn't* matter if that's a male, female, white, minority, whatever...I wouldn't care as long as they were a good president! And heck, *anybody* would be better than Bush...:)

I think it's time we just try to get a decent president regardless of the persons race or gender. It's pretty embarassing to have an incompetant person running things.

Neither. What you describe are merely superficial traits.

The things that are far more important are a President's character, leadership abilities, stance on the issues, their record of accomplishment and their ability to motivate.

Who really cares what gender, race, age, etc. someone is, it is about what they stand for. We need to find someone that is honest, full of integrity, has conviction and will represent the people. Just like I won't vote party-line, I won't base my vote on what I see externally.
