the sides of mine (the white part) are really dirty and i want to make them look nicer. how can i clean them?

I put my keds in the washer, with a capful of Mrs. Smiths blueing solution (found in by the 20 muleteam borax in the laundry isle)

Wash the shoes in the washer and clean te bottoms with a toothbrush and a bit of comet

if you mean the rubber part, use windex, simple green, or any other household cleanser and a tooth brush.
if you mean the fabric part, washing machine baby!

hose them off to get off all the dirt.
put some shout on and let it sit.
then hose them off again.
maybe soak them in some bleach.
i think they look better a little dirty
