do you think it is a boys or a girls name? my american cousins told me girls are called rory too!
i live in ireland. the gaelic version is ruairi, pronounced roooo-reeeee!

Only for a boy's name, Rory for a girl is a little common sounding.

Im not being cheeky,but I used to have a dog called rory.Im from Scotland and used to know a few rory's,I like the name.

yes it`s a great name. it`s the name of my dog because wen he was a tiny puppy he used to run around and he had this high pitched roar lol he was really cute so we called him rory. it really is a great name

i used to go to school with a "rory", its not a common name, but dont let it bother you, you could always change it by deed poll if you really hate it

I don't dislike it, but I'd wouldn't name my child it. Does that make sense? It reminds me of roaring, so I picture drunk people and lion's....not as negative as some names though, so don't feel too disheartened lol.
