Explain why Americans believe that Bill Clinton is the devil because he had an affair and stayed with his wife and family. Yet they believe that Giuliani, who moved his mistress into the mayor's mansion with his wife and kids, is the savior and God's appointee. Do you get it?

Its like you said most American are warped or at least brainwashed by media. If media says "you should burn him at the stake." they follow likewise if they say "praise him like angel".
I bet you if all the media companies would get together and say that President Bush was the best thing since sliced bread and that the Iraq war was a huge sucess that within a week the vast majority of the nation would really beleive it.

Clinton, better known, more publicity. Media hated him..... Giuliani, not as well known, media did not pursue the issue.
This is all in the spin.... Who is better at it.

I think there is more to it than that... but I don't know all the facts.
heck, everyone thought the world of the Kennedys but they were womanizers. People just turned the other cheek.
