Okay, if my friend liked a guy I liked and I knew he liked her back I would step aside. The girl you like is a good friend because she doesn't want to be in the way of her fried. Talk to the girl you like alone and tell her you really like her. Don't talk to the friend unless she wants too because you could really hurt her feelings and self-esteem.
