Why is the hanging of Saddam Hussain going to be important in world history? What makes it important?

Umm I think it will be important yes. It's nice to see a leader who was once on top get served justice. Yet I find it kind of disturbing after seeing his face on tv day after day for like 2 years to know they're going to hang him.

Because it has the government which is not concerned of their people.They are showing the world that they will do justice by hanging him but they are ignoring the situation which is going to come up after he is going to be hanged.They(Iraqi government) will be responsible for the increase in sectarian killing.

It's not going to be that important to history . But it's sure going to cause the sh@t to hit the fan for our boys in Iraq

I don't know how important it will seem to historians in the future. Right now, it will be a measure of justice to his victims & their families.

the fact that he was a vicious dictator and he tortured women and children and he was taken out of power and tried for crimes against humanity.
