There's usually a HUGE difference, but I've seen a select few who managed to combine the two beautifully.

HUGE.
Spirituality is independent of any artificial framework, and can be a solitary journey if need be. Moreover, it doesn't require certainty. In fact, it is often more about the searching for truth than the finding.
Religion, on the other hand, is rigid and conformity-based, and deals in claims of certainty.
The two definitely intersect in some people's lives, but they are not equivalent.
Few people seem to understand that, and can't conceive that my lack of religion doesn't equal a lack of spirituality.

HUGE difference - it is more possible to be truly spiritual without religion than with it - just as many people who claim religiosity haven't a damned clue about spirituality. For example, what would Jesus think of Jerry Falwell - or Mohammed think of Osama Bin Laden?

The difference is small in general but there r alot of differences. Spirituality is way of philosophy in the soul. Religion is not only that but its faith in a better world that is lately gone to hell.

HUGE difference, since spirituality is individual and resides deep within you while religion is the man-made avenue of practicing that and worshipping whatever Deity you beleive in.

Extremely huge. The Pharisees were religious but they could not grasp the Kingdom of God coming from within.
On the the otherhand, many claim to be spiritual but have no fruits to show. Sorry, but saying you have a feeling doesn't show one's faith either.

Religon is a farse. Its for people who need a crutch in life. None of it has ever been proven as true, and when you argue with people who roll the christ dice, they are blinded by their crutch beliefs.
