Its very political and it would take hours to explain if I typed it out. Believe me it is all in our (being US citizens) best interest. People are oppossed to the war because it is not a quick and decisive victory. You didnt see any demonstrators in Desert Storm...why? Because the casualities were low and the victory was quick. I dont like seeing our young men die over there more than anyone else but, we can not give in. The war against terrorism did not just start we have been at it since the Iranians took over the US embassy in the late 70's.

"Stay the course"......that's what the President of the United States says. Of course, he also said they had weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. He also said that our Government was going to help the victims of Katrina in New Orleans. He also said that the Dixie Chics had the right to say whatever they wanted to say about him. He also said that Jeb Bush would make a good next president. I could go on and on....

Like I said earlier the Pres. dont care who gets hurt as long as he gets paid the high wage he gets paid it would be different if he was over there with shots getting fired at him
