It's not unusual for spies to use sex in order to get access to information, but I've never heard of it being used simply to humiliate someone. And besides, even if it was a setup, he did take the bait.
And the conflict in the Middle East has been going on since before people knew that there WAS an America.

2) "Bennie" is Monica's mothers cousin. If you don't know who "bennie" is then you know nothing about Israel.
