Or could it be something more serious like genital warts? It hurts, and its reddish, so I think it's a pimple. Is there any way to know for sure? Please include your sources.

Could be a pimple or a boil (yeah, I know, gross). Don't pick at it, use a warm wet washcloth as a compress for about 10 minutes a few times a day. If there is no relief in a few days, see your doctor as if it's a boil, you may need antibiotics.

If you've had sex, then theres a chance it could be genital warts. But if you haven't, it might be just a little bump from where a pubic hair might have gotten pulled. i had a pinkish bump like what you described too, and that;s what my doctor said it was. So yeah. I mean I dont know about your sex life or anything, but if youve done 'IT' it might be genital warts.

yes. it's a pimple...I have had two. freaked me out...did a search on the internet and saw it was real common. it's probably not a good idea but I popped mine because it was so sore...swelling went down and it stopped hurting all together by the next day.

Yes, it can just be a pimple on your labia. Happens once in a while, don't bug it, can use warm compress.
