You have a couple of options to clean up your internet history and file cleanup. First go to the Internet Explorer icon and right click on it. Select properties and on the first window that shows up there should be a delete option to delete the cookies and temporary internet files. Depending on whether you have Internet Explorer 6 or Interner Explorer 7 it will vary slightly.

If you have Internet Explorer 6 you should have to tabs to select to delete the internet history. You should see Delete cookies and Delete files buttons to select. Use both of those to delete temporary files on your pc. I would also select the delete history button and the bottom of the window to delete all previous sites you have visited. I would also reset the days they are kept from 20 to 7.

If you have Internet Explorer 7 there should be a delete button to select once you have selected that and new window should show up. Go to the bottom of that window and select delete all and it will actually delete all cookies, temp files, and websites visited for you.

Now if you want to clean up files on your computer go to the My Computer icon and double click on it to go into My Computer. Go to your main hard drive which should be C: be default, right click on it and go to the tools tab. From there select the disk cleanup utility. This will free up some of your hard drive space by deleting old and unnecessary files that you do not need. After that is complete I would use the Disk Defrag tool as well which is on the Tools tab right under the Disk Cleanup button. This will also help performance and space on your computer.

If you are looking for a tool that will clean up your Internet history files such as cookies and temporary internet files, a very good program this is free is Ccleaner. This program will clean all your internet history files for you. To get this program just go to www.ccleaner.com and download the program under the download tab. This should take care of your deletion of internet history. Best of luck
