IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE IF NASCAR PUNISHES PEOPLE OTHER THAN HARVICK FOR A CHANGE. I KNOW HE HAS HAD TEMPER ISSUES IN THE PAST, BUT HE HAS REALLY KEPT HIS NOSE CLEAN THIS YEAR. THE LOCAL RACE FANS THAT ATTEND RACES WHERE RIGGS CUT HIS TEETH(BAHAMA, NEAR DURHAM, NC) SAY HE'S A CRYBABY.

While I don't condone what happened this is the situation NASCAR created. NASCAR has earned themselves a reputation for allowing certain driver's to do certain thing's and other driver's get black flagged etc. Harvick wrecked Rigg's and NASCAR did nothing. Why? Harvicks a chase driver Riggs is not , if it had been the other way around NASCAR would have crucified Riggs for screwing up the chase. Ya know damn well NASCAR was hoping for Harvick to get up there and do the same thing to Johnson,as he is the points leader. It's looking like another year their chase crap ain't gonna work out rating's wise. Most people don't particularly care for Kenseth and Johnsons become one of the hated and with it looking more and more like it being them 2 battling for it at Homestead, the ratings will be in the toilet again. NASCAR has proven to be stacked in the favor of certain drivers and allows other's to do as they please (ask Jimmy Spencer) he saw first hand how NASCAR handled a driver who intentionally wrecked someone, he ended up paying for it. Harvick took out Riggs, his crew took it a step further, DeLana getting hurt was coincidental not intentional.

It was uncalled for and now everyone associated with that is going to get a bad reputation and Harvick was wrong but that crew member didnt need to react like that and I can see how they would be a little mad but still that was still uncalled for and that person should be charged and fired and penalized because a NASCAR official and a driver's wife who is a good person and had nothing to do with that and was their watching her husband race like all the other wives and kids do so take it up wiht the driver not the other innocent people and dont get physical.

Well Delana Harvick should never have been pushed.
As far as Kevin well it could not have happened to a more deserving driver, well I can think of 2 that are more deserving.
But seriously the crew that did the pushing shold have their hard cards pulled for the rest of the season.
This matter should have gone to the NASCAR trailer.

It's too bad his wife was pushed but as for Harvick and his phony smile I wish he had been punched in the face.

It's only a matter of time before that happens.

I like most of the drivers but I can't stand Harvick and his arrogant style and smart mouth.

Wrecks happen all the time on the track and drivers get mad all the time as well. Pretty bad when you have to push another man's wife down, that's sad. I'm sure he probably didn't mean to hurt her and was going after Harvick, but he still is responsible. Stupid move. He should get punished big time.

From what I read on NASCAR.com, it was one of the #10 crew who pushed DeLana. My vote would be to suspend him and ban him from the track. Because a NASCAR official was also injured in the incident, and because they also have (from what I read) four officials who witnessed the incident, I think the crewman who did it is in for a world of hurt.

Yes, tempers run high. Yes, it was a crummy move and I think Harvick put Riggs into the wall. But dammit, you're supposed to be a freaking adult, and that is not acceptable behavior.

I think it is funny that ppl have to be so dumb to get in a fight about the race.C'mon now it was over by then ne ways....but they should be mad on their own time and not take it out on those two...Even tho what Harvick did wasnt kewl at all.He provoked what happend to him and his wife tho basically so it was part his fault 4 running his mouth at the 10 team too.

i feel bad for delana, but kevin harvick got what he deserved. he blatently wrecked scott riggs when he was running 2nd with just a few laps to go. he should have been sent to the tail end of the longest line for rough driving. i remember a few years ago at richmond when ricky rudd did the exact same thing to harvick with just a couple of laps left, and harvicks pit crews guys went over and started sh*t with rudd and started jumping up and down on his car. turnabout is fair play.

suspend them both for the rest of the season. dock them both 100 driver and owner points, fine them both $100,000, their owners, $150,000 and their crew chiefs $50,000. why??? they are both wrong. they are both being stupid and stupid should hurt. this will end the after race showdowns if some body gets punted during the race. someone is going to get killed when you get punted into a wall head on at 195 mph.
suspend them both. now!!! nascar wont do it because they dont have the guts to make this call. just like they poo pooed robby gordon.
