What is the meaning of this song? It is playing and I'd like to understand it.

That was a strange song and a strange movie during the Beatles really strange, drug induced period. I don't know if there is a real meaning. If you can, rent the movie (it's a cartoon) (a strange cartoon) and maybe that will help. They called it a fantasy. Yup. Strange drug induced fantasy.

I believe the concept originally came from a joint rolled in yellow Zig-Zag papers. Of course then it became the Beatles' animated movie to feature this song and some of their other songs. Ringo also did "Octopus' Garden" - same idea, hiding beneath the waves away from the rest of humanity. Escape from reality dreams.

most of their songs were done while on drugs......LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS is another of the songs they did....read it in rolling stone a long time ago .....but im sure its still available....
