Time to see your GP - but make sure you have your dates of last period etc with you... also try sex with you on top, then you will have more control?

Hi,
If in doubt, go to the doctor and get him/her to test your blood and do a urine sample. I just had problems with my peroid being too light, then too heavy, then I needed to pee all the time, and then I got lower back pain and then the big stabbing pain - so bad that I couldn't stand and my temp was at 102. It turned out that I had urinary tract infection(UTI) that went into a kidney problem, and the doctor told me that this possibly happened by getting a chill when I had my peroid, and possibly using a mooncup didn't help. I suffered in silence for 3 or 4 days over a very long weekend thinking that I would get better, and ended up on antibiotics for 2 weeks, so if in doubt, defo see the doc.
Other peroid pains which I've had have either been the pill which I've been on ( as I've had no success with any pill so don't bother with it anymore), or it's been down to a bad diet and no exercise when i'm being lazy and spending too much time in the office. I find that going out on the bike or swimming eases my peroid pains. Also, make sure you are getting enough vitamins and iron, and drink plenty water - standard advice that always works for me.

You do need to see your GP. Bleeding between periods needs investigating as occasionally it can be a sign that there is something wrong such as endometriosis, a sexually transmitted infection, or polycystic overian syndrome. If untreated, these can get worse and eventually damage your fertility. Plus I'm sure you don't want uncomfortable sex!

Could be an ovarian cyst so try and get an ultrasound scan, it will examine your womb, ovaries and even your kidneys.

it's just period pains.... I wouldn't worry if I were you, but if you are worried & just want to be sure, go to your gyno... I don't think it is anything, but you decide on what you should do...

I'd go and see your doctor to be sure - it sounds like it could be several things.
