Well, all I can say is, you'd better vote out all the conservatives. They will keep things as they are. Mobile could get a hurricane. Look at how the Republicans helped New Orleans! We had a surplus of money under Clinton. Now we have a huge deficit and it's getting bigger every day. The people in Iraq have a national health care program which we are financing, and we have none! Do what you think is best, though.

When unemployment is low, politicians love to take credit for "crating jobs". As anyone who has studied business and economics knows, the statement is false. Jobs are created as a result of supply and demand, the availability of funding for an item, project or expense, and so many more factors. A politician can't be like God and say "let there be jobs". Anyway, i am sorry you lost your job. You will have to get the foodstamps, unemployment benefits, and other social services until you get back on your feet again. You sound like a good father and a responsible citizen - if my businesses were near you, I would interview you and try to hire you.

No candidate from any party is going to hand you another job. Vote for whoever you like, if you have the time, but you'd better spend your time devouring the employment ads, preparing a first-rate resume, and knocking on some doors.

The person whose beliefs and political philosophies most closely match your own.
Or, barring that, the person whose ideologies are the least repugnant.
Meanwhile, there is no shame in drawing unemployment. You're just getting some of your tax money back.
I will be praying for you and your family, especially for the healthy and safe delivery of your newborn.

Think about this. Everyone says that the Republicans are run by big business. And they also say that the Democrats, promote social welfare programs.
Although who you vote for is your choice, you have to decide if you want to work, or if you want to collect welfare?
Good luck, and I hope you find something soon.

what does you employment status have to do with for whom you vote? if you don't know the issues or anything about the people running then you should not vote at all. no one needs an uneducated voter adding their two cents.
