If you have internet access, go to mail.yahoo.com and sign on. You will have full access to your email. If your email address ends in anything other than "@yahoo.com" you will need to include your entire email address, not just the username.
If you use an internet ready cell phone, you should be able to access email on your phone.

If you are staying at a hotel, I believe that they charge for internet access. Since you will be there for more than a month, I would suggest finding a local public library. Many times you can get internet access there. Usually, you just have to sign in when you start and sign out when you finish. (You should only be reading mail that is appropriate to have open in a public setting, though)

Many of the accommodations have some type of business center so you might be able to use the computer there. Also many cell phones offer the yahoo service where you can check your email via your cell phone.

All of our libraries down here have computers available to the public at no cost...you don't even have to have a library card. I know several people without home computers who use the library daily to check their email or surf the net.
