how do I erase hidden files on my computer?

The reason they are hidden is so you can't delete them. The reason you don't really want to go around and delete hidden files is because the Operating System (windows) needs them in order to run properly.

I think you want to delete files that have information on you saved in your computer. In that case you should use CCleaner its a program that will wash windows.
