The National Rifle Association has just announced that the bogus "American Hunters and Shooters' Association", which has actually supported politicians in Missouri who OPPOSE lawful ownership of firearms, has been forced to withdraw its ads and that two radio stations have refused to run them. Did anyone fail to realize that the ASHA ads were nothing but political LIES? Source: nra_ila.com

Just reading their website will tell you that they are actually an anti-gun ownershp group.

Here are examples;

"Modern semiautomatic .50 caliber BMG sniper rifles are weapons designed for military use that combine long range, accuracy, and massive power." This is a lie, the semi-automatics and bolt guns were designed for the civilian market and civilian shooters.

"Modern .50 caliber BMG sniper rifles possess no reasonable utility for hunting or self-defense." This is also a lie, they are suitable for and have been used for hunting game in the USA.

They fail to mention that 50 BMG rifles are very rarely used in violent crime in the USA. They also neglect to say that the local sheriff can deny ownership of a machinegun by refusing to sign an ATF form 4 for any reason.

The AHSA is just another gun grabbing group wearing a mask.
