they always type a z? or they just are so lazy they forget how to spell?

What is so hard about putting the correct letters in the word? It's not like it makes shorter by using a z or coming up with a stupid way of spelling the word

It's the extremely bizarre practice some people have of actually spelling out their spoken dialects. This is a phenomenon that seems to happen primarily in America where the public school system is afraid to correct students' spelling for fear of hurting their fragile egos.

People today are used to seeing cd's and such with z's instead of s's. I guess they're trying to sound like hip-hop or cool or something, but they just end up looking stupid. It's not saving any time; the letter is just swapped!
