I was thinking of proably Nina Williams because her story is so interesting or Jin, Kazuya and Heihachi.

Jin is a good one but too cliche. As we know the game is about Jin. Everybody is going to pick their favorite fighter. My favorite fighter is Christie but I really don't want to watch an entire movie on her. If it is made however Jin is probably going to be the best choice. Who is going to watch a movie about a Polar bear story, or a kangaroo or a wooden robot thingy.
If it is made I hope it is in 3d animation just like the ending movies after you beat the game or even better if it can be. Making a real life tekken movie with real actors is not only challenging but a huge risk because of the tekken name reputation.

Ling Xiaoyu in an anime comedy (and an unrequainted love with Jin. Ling's my favourite character btw.)
Law and Paul in a comedy too
Hwoarang and Baek in a comedy too
Nina and Anna in a thriller/comedy that forces them to work together
King and Marduk in an action/comedy
And a matrix comedy battle between Heihachi, Kazuya and Jin along with Jinpachi all trying to kill each other
Panda and Kuma in a romance comedy
Bryan and Yoshimistu in an action film trying to kill each other
And that's just about it.

Jin and the rest of his family. Maybe include some famale couterparts. The film would of course have to be anime and not made with real people.

Think it's hard just to pick one character since everyone is linked.
Next years film should be interesting.
