something has got into your windows operating system and corrupted it and this is what is causing your p.c to crash whenever you try to uninstall software or when you download
defragging, deleteing cookies wont sort this problem out, what you need to do is try a system restore first to try and return your p.c to a time when it was running ok,to do this go to programs>accesories>system tools>system restore, then restore as far back as you can or to before this problem started to happen
if this dosent work you will need to do a system recovery, you should of got a recovery disc when you got your computer, this is a disc that will return your p.c to the state it was when you first took it out of the box
all you need to do with this is insert it in your cd rom drive and follow the instructions, but you will find with the recovery discs that most of the disc is automatted
another option is to do a error check,to do this go to my computer and right click your hard drive(c) and then properties, then click the tools tab and pick error check, you will then be told you can only do it after the next restart,,,when you next restart, windows will check the ntfs file system in 3 stages, and if it finds any errors it will fix it
obviously before you do these, standard checks with your anti-virus and anti-spyware should be done,as a virus can affect the stable running of your p.c,there is a special tool from microsoft that will check for some of the most damaging viruses, and this can be used with your existing anti-virus,you can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx
like i said before the last resort is system recovery using the disc, but if all else fails this will be your only option
any problems let me know
good luck

If you can't download any software you need to take it for repair. You need an anti-virus and anti-spyware program (not always the same thing).
If you can, run a virus scan like AVG and a spyware scan like Ad-aware. You can get these from Download.com. They will get rid of most but not all of the malware on your pc.
Try downloading CCleaner and use it first to clean your pc then use Tools to uninstall programs you don't need.
Good luck!

do an anti virus scan, adware scan. But if it keeps crashing, you need to take it to the repair man and let him fix it. It will crash one day big time and you'll have big troubles. Take it now!

I would possibly consider formatting your pc.
But as said above left too long and it could lead to hdd failure
good luck
