My 2002 Ford Explorer has a weird electrical problem. The power door locks frequently activate while driving.

Question

NOrmally the doors will lock after you have the vehicle in Drive and you are going down the road. Now the Explorer is locking the door repeatedly, over and over with the door ajar tone sometimes sounding while driving. I have checked the fuses but not sure where else I sould continue my pursuit of this annoying problem. Your Ideas?

This is a normal feature gone berzerk. Normally the locks engage soon after you get rolling with the car in Drive. NOw however, it locks, then relocks, then relocks constantly instead of the one time required.

On many vechicles they were built to auto lock on their own when you reach a certain speed.
