My Van started stalling out a couple weeks ago It will start and then stall before in gear but will start after 3 or 4 trys, we took it to the shop the did a tune up and charged us 220.00 now its stalling worse, we took it back to the garage they said it need the tune up they changed the sparkplugs, a new air filter and fuel filter, when we took it back the guy said that its from the cold weather and his car does the same thing, I dont believe that, a little wile ago we had to put coolant in the van because the light came on but thats all.

The fuel injectors need to be cleaned.

Yes the injecters could be the problem. With your gas tank about empty.... Buy some fuel injecter cleaner and add the whole bottle to about 8 gallons of premuim 92 octane gas. Then try and run the van on a freeway going up a steep incline so you can give it "full throttle" for a period of time. Do this repeatedly in an effort to "flush out" the deposits that are restricting you gas flow. Also if you usually run low octane gas such as 87 octane try switching for a while and run just the high 92 octane. You should feel a difference. Good Luck.

It needs to have the fuel pump pressure tested. If output is to high or to low the van will stall out. It most likely will need fuel pump replaced or there's a hole in the fuel line sucking air.

it sounds like my old car. there is a sencer that might be bad in it. or when u change the gear the gear shift could be poping out of place. my dads friend is a mancanic that is what he told us
