My daughter is 11 and wants to start wearing pantyhose and short skirts. I'm afraid she'll be attracting older boys or even men. what do you think?

Pantyhose is fine...short skirts I'd have an issue with. What about tights with shorts? Teach her about compromising.

I agree with the others that it might be the skirt length that would be questionable. My mom let me wear pantyhose other than white around this age and I personally never had a problem. I don't think men would trip on an 11 year old wearing pantyhose.

Maybe leggings would be more appropriate than pantyhose for her age. Leggings are back in style now and look really cute under skirts. But, I wouldn't let the skirts be very short. She is still at the age where you can control what she wears, so I would do just that.

Any age can wear pantyhose, i dont kno about the short skirts.

this is basically the right age for girls to try short skirts...just don't allow her at age 18...kids can wear pantyhose...its not a big deal. i wore from age 8.

no i don't think so my daughter is 11 and she wears them and no older boys or men are attracted to her just make sure the skirt is past her finger tips. you are a good mother to be worried about that though.

Thats about the right age that they wnt to giv up the heavy thghts and wear more grown up pantyhose.

at least have the skirt be to the end of her fingertips. if you're concerned, just have her wear leggings under the skirt... then nothing shows, and it still doesnt look skanky.

I would wait until she is older like 14 or 17 so that she know she pros and cons.
