All new punk is not punk at all. If your looking for some good classic punk try the Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedy's, or the Misfit's. AFI used to be good too, check out these albums:

HEY!! real punk rock is my favorite kind of music. don't listen to the shitty pop bands. listen to the ones with hard rock and heavy metal influences, but still aren't mainstream. here are the best:
