On the show he said he did. He said he was leaving to go to college. Then Joe filled his spot.

he did drugs and went to prison. i dont think he ever went to or finnished college. sorry if this crushes your hopes and dreams

I heard he got into trouble with drugs and the show decided not to renew his contract due to the bad publicity. The college thing was to help the kids with the transition since kids hate change.
