I agree with all the answers above about baths, ensuring you're wiping your baby well after each nappy change etc. You'll also need to keep an eye on whether this looks like a water infection (your baby would be quite unwell and have a temperature if that's the case) but although I try and use reusable nappies, I have noticed (and so have others) that Pampers nappies really make urine smell very strongly. If you use Pampers, try switching to another brand and see if that helps.

It could be an infection. If the urine smells very strong and still smells on the baby after changing, you should seek the advice of your pediatrician.

How old's your baby? Try giving some cooled boiled water especially if formula fed. Or if older something like Robinsons special R diuted at least1:10. Or some watered down cranberry juice good if a water infection- if lasting take to doctor may need antibiotics.

Probably needs a bath, a nappy can soak the body and the smell will be there so give the baby a bath

Check his/her clothes to make sure they smell fresh, especially if your little one is a drooler. Use wipes when you change and a little baby powder. Keeping him/her clean along with blankets and clothes would do it. Also, if you put your baby directly on the floor and not on a clean blanket, the smell could be coming from the carpet.

That's a big mystery. Do you clean his/her bottom with a baby lotion or use a baby wipe? Try to clean thoroughly but taking care not to overdo it. Also, babies need to be bathed daily.
Sometimes, if the nappy is too loose, the urine may leak upwards and get soaked up by clothes. Check if this was the case. Also, when you clean your baby, wipe the part of his/her back just above the bottom too.

I would need to know how old he/she is, and the diet. Sometimes if you are providing too much apple juice, it can make the urine stronger. If you feel you should, bathe your child more often and try offering plain water to drink.

Maybe you should give him a bath, after that put some powder on him. If that doesn't work take him to the doctor.

take it to the doctor, if its newborn it could also have thrush, that also causes quite a smell on babies. both my babies had it, even though with my first i nearly died of shock, i thought only adults got it!
