Can You Play Sims 2 Pets Without Sims 2?

You must have installed the Sims 2 first. You could have used a friend's cd to install the Sims 2 and be able to play the Sims 2 pets.

Sims 2 pets is an expansion of Sims2. You need the original on your computer or there is nothing to expand.

I'm not sure about Sims 2, but I know Sims 1 you have to have the origianl too.

No..b/c that is an expansion pack..you need the original to play it
