Today, now, exists for the person asking the question.
Your intrinsic time is zero.
As you look around, everything you see is in the past. The future does mot exist yet.
Because your reaction time is about one tenth of a second, and light travels about 1 cm in one thirty-billionths of a second you are able to interact with your surroundings without being aware of your zero time isolation.
This concept exists through out the universe,on all scales.
It is a universe making itself work!!

today as in a measurement of time ?
material, i.e. the stuff that makes up the universe, can be said to exist. time, on the other hand, is non material, but it too exists.it is our measurement of the changes we observe this stuff going through. change most certainly exists. so if tomorrow comes then this would be good evidence that today exists, but, hold on, by then it would be too late.
good question. this is a two pipe problem.

actualy today wont exist until tomorrow because today is not completed yet, but then today wont exist tomorrow either because it will already have happened. Today is merely a figment of our imagination, only what happens in moments hold any real truth.

Not as an objective, global definition. Since there are different time-zones, the definition of 'today' varies by where you are, and whose 'today' is correct?
Actually my definition is correct, and everyone else is wrong! :-)
