This isn't as arrogant as it sounds.

Sometimes when i'm dressed in a certain way, i find that people react strangely. And when i do my makeup almost perfect, i'm subjected to a lot more wierdness.

Do you ever get that feeling?

Nope...but I would rather that people be intimidated by what I do for a living instead.

Usually your intuition will pick up on negative vibes and tell you that someone can be intimidated and/or envious of you. Depending on body language and communication, you may be able to tell if she was intimidated..... if she started acting cold all of a sudden, avoiding eye contact, trying to impress you overly or actually rejecting any intellectual talk. If she put you down in any way by verbally attacking you (Your house is nice outside, but the inside is a mess . Your hair is pretty but has so many split ends , your school is decent but the area is slum, etc) The envious and/or intimidated people will try and make their own lives seem like stardom / perfection or even terrible for attention. The attention that you have, they may want so it begins causing feelings of resentment, anxiety, anger and quick impatience. Looks alone can provoke such behaviour because for many reasons , exterior appearance may be an "answer" to voids in peoples lives in some cases. "If I looked like her, I might get the guy of my dreams, better treated by peers or teachers, great career ." etc. "She might be better off then me." Or "I do not measure up." Try to not to gain much attention from people who do not admire or appreciate your beauty and put you down because of your exterior or interior qualities . Some of them will attempt bring you down, so that you do not shine because they feel inadequate in some way . So yes I know I mentioned intimidation and also envy. To answer this question, I figured I would include this mix because I know that they may go hand in hand once in a while. Keep an eye out for envious co-workers/bosses because they might try and sabotage your position. Friends and family who are doubtful or give you that weird or evil look.. keep a distance ..Other people just ignore. Now if you get "fans", use the power of beauty to inspire and motivate people ;)!

I don't get that because I am male, however I can see very much how that can happen because this infact happens to me. I will not hardly even look at a very beautiful girl, smile, or even acknoledge her because I feel not worthy of attention from her or even a smile. I think that alot of males have this same inferiority complex because we sometimes have a hard time struggling with the roles in society that we feel that we are suposed to play.

My suggestion to you is don't change, do your make up so that you show off your true beauty and simply make yourself that much more open to people so that you intimidate them less. Smile more, be polite, I don't mean be fake but stretch yourself so that you don't feel as though you are intimidating them too much. But don't change your beauty because it does fade!

I dyed my hair black one time and got strange reactions from people. I had people tell me I looked mean or harsh, among other things. So, if I am ever in the mood to intimidate someone I will temporarily dye my hair black for the added intimidation!
