Do not get me wrong, by asking this question I do not mean that the United States should "attack" North Korea - or whatever.... I just hope that since the US Government is obviously very cautious handling that situation, it should do so with all other "problems".

The United states has shown that it HAS nuclear weapons. What is North Korea going to do about that?

They are doing nothing and should do nothing. North Korea is at best a minimal threat which has plenty of its own enemies. It is a poor country that is acting out to get attention. North Korea missles have been shown to be faulty and just plain bad. There missles are no threat to Americans.

It's the US's fault - Bush bailed out of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. If Bush hadn't been so gung-ho about reviving nuclear war, he might have more international support. As it stands, he's just hoping he can ignore Korea until he's out of office.

Not alot what with Russia n China not liking strong sanctions plus there's the elections, but then again it's probably the moves of a dying regime, the people are starving, China's becoming(we hope) more democratic(Western) and Russia's got it's own problems(Chetchnia)

Once a country has nukes, there is nothing we can do...that's why countries like Iran and North Korea want them.

The same thing we were doing when we realized that they were serious about proliferating...fighting a war in Iraq because our president said Iraq was working on nuclear weapons.

The war on Iraq was about oil. The USA will do nothing about Korea as there is no oil.
