Any foam peanuts or sheet they use in computer packaging will be an ESD safe foam. ESD is ElectroStatic Discharge. Normal packing peanuts give off a huge staic charge. ESD safe peanuts are made to not give off that electrical charge. They will normally be pink or blue.

It's been a while since my computer was new, but styrofoam is still used in most packaging of electronics as far as I know.

I think ESD Bag is safe to protect any electronic products.
