Lakers will go into the 3 round of the playoffs. They will beat the suns in the playoffs.

I think they'll end up somewhere around 45-50 wins this year. I think the key will be Andrew Bynum. I honestly think he is the next great Laker center. He's just too young. If he can continue to mature and produce they may be able to do some damage in the playoffs. If not they'll be out by the second round. Watch out for them next year or two years from now when Bynum really starts to come into his own. Then everyone will be saying Shaq who?

descent but the high powers of the west will once again be too much for kobe inc.....i mean the suns look stronger than ever, and the mavs r poised to go back to the title...and the spurs, despite getting older by the second...can't be counted out...id predict LA as a 4/5 seed heading into the playoffs...baring any disasterful kobe injuries

They'll make it to the second round at best, and even that's probably a stretch. Kobe's not a leader and the team just isn't up to par with the other elite teams of the west, especially Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix. I predict they'll clinch the 7th seed and lose in the first round.

everyone (atleast everyone that matters) says that they wont even make the playoffs but i think the lakers will finish 3rd in their division and sneak into the playoffs with a 7th or 8th seed, depending on who they play, they will probably go down in the first round or second but i dont see them making the finals

If Kobe can play team ball throughout the whole season they will make the playoffs and probably put a little pressure on the high seeds.

I tihnk they will be better than last year but the way they are playing now is a fluke!! They will make it to the playoffs again but not make it past the second round atleast!! Dont get sold on what they are doing right now!! its not real!!

i honestly think that they'll make the playoffs but they won't get to the finals, this team is still trying to play together, trying to adjust to each other.

there're a playoff team but won't go very far they do't play well as a team.
