In my opinion the best flip phone out is the new Sony Ericsson w710, it's got so many cool features, like a calorie counter/pedometer and you can set training programmes on it. Not to mention it's funky design/Walkman mp3 software and 2mp camera! Very durable too!

Most of the best models available are either slide form or candy bar ! Not much choice of good flip phones ! Samsung probably have some of the nicest though !

I've been lucky with Sony Ericsson flips like my Z530i -its the non-walkman version of the W300.
When pictures, music, and all of that matters you'll want to consider the Z710 or W710. For Euro 3G, the Z610 is a phone you'll drool over :)

nokia n93 is the ultimate flip phone around but the n75 is just gonna blow some minds. d n93 has excellent connectivity (bluetooth, infrared, EDGE, Wifi, HSCSD) as well as a lovely 3.2megapixel camera (not the best though) and some cool applications. it runs on a symbian OS v9.1 making the operating system run quite smoothly. what would be a minus for the phone is its size, weight and how much it isn't user-friendly.

that motorola razor phone because it's flat, compact, durable for those unexpected drops, but it's kinda expensive too. I know Cingular carries them, but I don't know of the other carriers that do.

in my opinion, i think that would have to be the Nokia N series phone, just go to Nokia.com and check them out, now when it comes to affordability then just get the Razr phone, they are awesome.
