Computer A (Windows XP) has a wireless addapter on its USB port and speaks to a cablemodem via a wireless router. That works consistently well. Now right next to computer A is computer B with a Fast Ethernet NIC and a USB port. What I would like is for computer B to also reach the Internet via connecting to computer A either via a cross-over cable between their FE ports or via their USB ports. Can you recommend a way to make this work? Computer B is Win98.

Use a crossover cable to connect computer A and B and make them able to communicate between each other, then enable Internet Connection Sharing on computer A: http://www.home-network-help.com/internet-connection-sharing.html
