How do you know when someone is gay and how do you aproach them?

I like this guy at school and he is so cute I always stalk him throughout the day I mean he is GORGEOUS!

Erm well for starters...... stalking is not good... its one of the many signs of madness ...... why not just ask him outright?? ie 'are you gay'? if he turns and runs at least you know where you stand ;-)

You can't always know for certain.
I just flirt with everybody and see who responds (but I may not be a good role model).

If you're not very confident, just try to appear friendly and approachable, and keep smiling at him, to see if he gets the hint and approaches you. Otherwise, just go up and ask him - he can only say no, and he might be flattered, even if he's not interested.

The most common way to tell if someone is gay is by watching their mannerisms. If they have the tendencies of a woman (method of talking, walking, etc.) then he may be gay. As for the approach, you could be polite and say, "I don't mean to offend you if you aren't, but are you gay?"
